Mustache Fend Powerful Skin Cancer
Researchers from the University of Southern Queensland recently demonstrated, mustache and beard help reduce the risk of skin cancer.
Using dosimetric techniques, researchers initiated the study. Dosimetric techniques are skin measurements indicating the amount of radiation absorbed by the skin tissue over a period of time.
The results showed that the beard and mustache help reduce sun exposure to the skin by a third, and this helps reduce the risk of skin cancer. The longer the hair around the mouth, the better to protect from the risk of skin cancer.
However, not to worry. Kaun air that does not have a beard is still to reduce the risk of skin cancer.
Previous research has found that the hair on the head also helps reduce the risk of cancer from exposure to sunlight or ultraviolet light.
