A study of spider venom for the treatment of breast cancer is underway in Australia.

Some scientists in the country of origin of this Kangaroo James Cook University, which is supported by the Queensland Minister for Science, Ros Bates believes that the poison of spiders common to tarantulas can kill breast cancer cells.

The conviction was based on an international study suggests that some of the venom of the spider can deliver lethal effects of the breast cancer cells.

"With more than 40 thousand species of spiders, it is forecast at more than four million different venom from spiders," said Bates in a statement as reported by Xinhuanet.

"Toxins are now being selected to search with the most potential to kill cancer in humans," he added.

This study became a pillar that Queensland is where the world's scientists, said Bates.
